TO THE RESCUE
           Meet

            Sheldon

             When Caryl McIntire Edwards

wanted a new dog, she went to
the shelter. She wanted a senior

dog, one seven years or older.

             She found an eight-year-old dog
named Sheldon. Sheldon lost his home

when his first owner went into nursing care.

Edwards took Sheldon to visit his first owner. “He

tried to put his front paws around her!” exclaims

Edwards. Edwards is a piano player. When she
plays at the nursing home, Sheldon sings along! COVER: KARA COOPER. THIS PAGE: CARYL EDWARDS.

He is vocal. He uses his voice to show how he

feels. He is happy to be with his people.
