[pi-SIN-itch] loves the

water. But he did not
know of a stream near

his house! It flowed
under the ground. A

family friend told him
that only three salmon

came back there. The
red fish swim up rivers

to lay eggs.

“I wanted people to
help,” says Austin.

People can build places
for the fish to lay their

eggs. They can plant
trees along the stream.
