Birds have smaller brains than other animals. But bird brains
can do a lot. Chickens can learn to peck at certain colors. One
lovebird — a type of parrot — learned how to play Minecraft!
How? Bird brains are extra busy. They help the bird
think and move by sending messages to different parts
of the body. Crows can use tools like great apes. They
use leaves to scoop insects from trees.
African gray parrots can learn about zero in math.
