Abandoned Bunnies
What would you do if you saw a stray dog in your
neighborhood? What about a stray cat? What about
a stray bunny?
4 Did you know that just like dogs and cats, there are domestic rabbits?
Domestic means they rely on humans to survive. Some people think
Day of the Dog domestic rabbits can survive on their own in the wild, but in reality,
abandoned rabbits don’t survive long at all. Domestic rabbits can't
tolerate very hot or cold weather. They can get many diseases
and lack the survival instincts, or abilities, that wild rabbits
have to stay alive.
How can you tell the difference between a domestic
