helped Pixar learn about these dogs.
She can understand why
the Aztec people loved them.
“They are very warm to the touch,”
Lawson says. “They will cuddle on
you.” One of her own xolo dogs
stayed next to her when she was sick.
“Now you have a buddy who protects
you and makes you feel better.”
If your family wants to bring a xolo
into your home, look for rescue
groups that know this breed. If you
look for a puppy from a breeder,
make sure they are teaching the dogs Xolos
