Alivia arrives at the cat room
with her family. She sets up her sleeping bag. She
decorates the room with paw prints and streamers.
It is time to get to know all the cats.
Treats all around!
Alivia helps make a video of the cats. It is
used to ask her family, their friends, and businesses
to give money.
Ding-dong! A friend of Alivia’s family has sent
pizza for dinner!
Alivia leads an art project with the cats and
dogs. She pours paint on poster papers, tops them
with clear wrap, and spreads on peanut butter.
When the animals lick, they make art!
Alivia helps walk the dogs.
After taking a cat into bed to snuggle,
Alivia falls asleep.
It is breakfast time! Alivia helps clean the cats’
cages. She gives food, water, fresh litter, and a clean
bed to each kitty.
Alivia makes cat toys to leave with her new
friends. She hangs them from the tops of their cages.
Time to pack up and sign out. Alivia is
happy to see the cats grabbing at her toys!
Alivia’s favorite part of the day?
“Doing the paintings with the dogs and cats to
make artwork,” she says. She also liked helping the
shelter. Alivia and her family raised $3,125!
