INCREDIBLE CAREERS WITH ANIMALS:
PET PHOTOGRAPHER
Do you like to take pictures? Perhaps a career as a photographer is for you! Animal shelters
are often in need of volunteers to take good photographs and write descriptions of the animals available for
adoption, which is exactly how Kaylee Greer got started. From animal shelters all over the country to Europe,
Kaylee’s camera has taken her far. She has her own pet photography business, book, and reality show on the
NatGeo channel called Pupparazzi. It all started when she realized the reason she’s on this earth: dogs.
Kind News: How does a dog’s unique KN: How do animals “talk” to you during
spirit guide your work? a photo shoot?
Kaylee Greer: I look at dogs from a KG: Smaller dogs are famous for lifting one paw up.
childlike perspective. They are so full of joy and It’s a sign that the dog is fearful. If I see that, I put the

eyeball to them. It can be very upsetting. I’ve learned
to keep my face above the camera.
