Do you really need to brush your cat or dog? Yes! Brushing a coat helps
to spread around natural oils, leaving a shiny, healthy coat. It also helps
reduce shedding and remove dirt and burrs, like foxtails, which can
painfully burrow, or dig into, the skin if not removed. You may only need
to brush a short-haired dog or cat a few times a week, while a long-
haired dog or cat requires daily brushing. Be careful not to brush too
4 hard, especially on pets with sensitive skin or tender spots.
