TO THE RESCUE
At a park, visitors saw a brown duck who could not
hold his head up. They called Lollypop Farm in New
York. Workers took him back to the farm. They set up
a small pool for "Quackers" with vegetables to eat.
They gave him a bath. That’s when they saw that
Quackers was a Pekin duck, a white duck kept on
farms. “He had been covered in dirt!” says farm
manager Mary Miller. He was most likely left in the
park, and could not find food.

his head again, says Miller. “He liked to follow people
around and quack.” He made friends with three other
ducks. They found a home together!
