T-Shirt Cat Toys
Do you have old t-shirts that are ripped or stained? Instead of
throwing them out, try recycling them into easy-to-make cat toys.
All you need is an old t-shirt, a marker, and a pair of scissors!
1. Find an old t-shirt that you no longer wear. You can also
use different t-shirts for a multi-colored toy!
2. Find the bottom of the t-shirt and measure about two
inches up. This is where you will draw your line.
3. Carefully use your scissors to cut along the line you just drew.
Have a parent or guardian help you with this step.
4. You should now have a long piece of fabric. Cut it in half down the middle.
5. Stack the two long pieces of fabric together and tie a knot in the middle.
6. You can keep the ends long or cut them short. If you cut them short, you will
have extra fabric to create more - it’s up to you! You now have an (almost)
new cat toy!
