Austin was just six years old when he walked into Walmart to buy

thought of the shelter dogs in outdoor cages in the cold. He bought as many
blankets as he could. He gave them to the shelter. With his mother’s help, Austin

started his own group called Every Bark Counts. He asked people to give or
donate money for animals in shelters. People from all around the world helped.

Austin is now 12 years old. He has raised over $80,000 for cats, dogs, and horses
in need at shelters across the country.
